The Common Black College App allows students to instantly apply to more than 50 HBCUs for a one-time application fee of $20! Not only can colleges offer admissions to students, but they can also provide scholarship opportunities. CBCA member institutions have awarded over $1 billion in scholarships annually, according to its website.

Carol Ann and Ralph V. Haile Jr. Scholarship Program

The Carol Ann and Ralph V. Haile Jr. Foundation, in partnership with UNCF created the Carol Ann and Ralph V. Haile Jr. Scholarship Program to assist students attending a UNCF member institution, a Historically Black College or University (HBCU), or any accredited, four-year institution. This is a merit-based renewable scholarship.

north Jersey Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated

The North Jersey Alumnae Chapter was established in 1939 as the first chapter in New Jersey. Chapter members perform community service within Essex, Union, and Hudson Counties and has awarded more than $1,000,000.00 in scholarship assistance to young people in the Northern New Jersey area.

 

USDA 1890 National Scholars Program

The USDA 1890 National Scholars Program is aimed at increasing the number of students from rural and underserved communities who study food, agriculture, natural resource and other related sciences. The scholarship provides recipients with full tuition, fees, books, room and board. Scholars attend one of the 1890 land-grant universities and pursue degrees in agriculture, food, natural resource sciences, or related academic disciplines. The scholarship may also include work experience at USDA. The program is a crucial part of USDA’s Next Generation efforts.

TMCF | NIKE HBCU SCHOLARSHIP

The Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) and NIKE are proud to offer financial assistance to outstanding students attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). Ninety-five (95) scholars will be selected to receive a scholarship of up to $10,000 for the 2024-2025 academic school year.

Creme of Nature Legacy Of Leadership

Students currently enrolled at an Historically Black College or University (HBCU) are eligible to apply for a chance to win up to $5,000. Scholarships will be awarded through the Thurgood Marshall College Fund.
